How to prepare our


Our bagels are baked fresh daily, they are kettle boiled and hearth-baked (for 95%) in the USA before being shipped to Holland. We receive our Eastcoast bagels frozen to ensure the best quality.  When you receive your bagels, store them in your freezer or fridge. This is how you enjoy our bagels best:

Preheat your oven at 180° and bake your bagel(s) for 7 minutes. Let them cool-off for 10 minutes, if you can! Or cut them in half and toast them for a couple of minutes until golden, enjoy!

Our bagels can be kept in the fridge for 1 week (if they will last that long).

Are you looking for real NY style bagels which you can prepare at home? My name is Maarten Vriethoff, I am Dutch and love bagels. When I moved back to Amsterdam after spending many years in NY, it was impossible to find real bagels. Then I met some guys from the Eastcoast whom own a large bagel company selling delicious bagels. It was the perfect way to finally satisfy my bagel craving and I wanted to share this with all bagel lovers in Amsterdam!

So I run a small operation in Amsterdam sharing my love for bagels. Delivering bagels in Amsterdan and Amstelveen by bike, combining bagels and cycling… 

Our bakery was founded in 1995 as a fresh bagel supplier to local bagel shops. They bake authentic, NY style bagels and use the best ingredients, like powdered barley malt and Wingold flour. Most important, they have expert bagel bakers.  All bagels are Kettle boiled then hearth baked.  This gives the bagel a crusty outside with a soft chewy inside.

  No high-fructose Sweeteners or trans fat oils are used.

Our entire product line is 100% NUT FREE and completely safe for those with any peanut or tree nut allergy.

Our bagels are KOSHER and VEGAN as well.
